All-party delegation set to meet PM, HM today

A delegation of leaders of political parties based in the State that left for New Delhi from here yesterday is all set to meet the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister in New Delhi tomorrow to urge them for an amicable solution to the controversial Indo-Myanmar border issue in the State.
According to a highly placed source from Delhi, the political delegates were engaged the whole day today in discussion and making the final draft of the memorandum to be submitted to the Prime Minister and Home Minister.
The main points of the memorandum would be demand for rectification of the google maps that wrongly showed the international boundaries between Manipur and Myanmar, immediate halt to Indo-Myanmar border fencing in the State, inclusion of representatives from the State in the Joint Boundary Survey Committee and identification of traditional boundaries between Manipur and Myanmar.
The delegates are hopeful for a positive response from the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister tomorrow, the source added.
