Lifting of PDS rice continues

Imphal, August 01 2020: In continuation of the State Government's initiative to ensure availability of foodgrains to all during the ongoing lockdown, the lifting of PDS rice from certain godowns located in various parts of the State continues.

Tamei AC (Tousem Sub-Division) in Tamenglong district lifted 1312.65 quintal of rice under NFSA for July from FCI godown, Jiribam on July 18 & 19 .

The same AC reported lifting of 1120 quintal under PMGKAY for July on July 30 .

In Imphal West district today, a total of 4320.5 quintal of rice under NFSA was lifted which consisted of 1815.9 quintal for Thangmeiband AC and 2504.6 quintal for Lamshang AC .

The two ACs completely lifted its allocated NFSA rice for July.

Meanwhile, 5260.8 quintal of rice under PMGKAY have been distributed in Uripok, Keishamthong and Wangoi ACs.

Three ACs in Imphal East district hd reported lifting of its allocated PMGKAY rice for the month of July.

1092 quintal for Yaiskul AC and 2260.30 quintal for Wangkhei AC were lifted on July 25 whereas, 1976.90 quintal for Khurai AC was lifted on July 30 .

PMGKAY rice for the month of August, 2020 in respect of Imphal East district have been lifted.

It is reported that 1812.80 quintal for Kshetrigao AC, 2212.35 quintal of Andro AC, 2260.30 quintal for Wangkhei AC were lifted on July 27 and 1092 quintal for Yaiskul AC, 1753.80 quintal for Thongju AC, 1976.90 quintal for Khurai AC were lifted on July 28 while another 1890.05 for Heingang AC and 1832.20 quintal for Lamlai AC were lifted on July 29 .

For Tamenglong AC in Tamenglong district, 500 quintal of rice under PMGKAY for July was lifted from FCI godown, Sangaiprou today.

With the lifting of 1270.80 quintal of rice under NFSA for Saikot AC in Churachandpur district today, the AC have completely lifted its allocated NFSA rice for the month of July.

Tadubi AC in Senapati district today lifted 1791.20 quintal of rice under PMGKAY and 1842.40 quintal under NFSA for August.
