NSCN-IM accords reception to 'Home comers' from 'K'

The NSCN-IM has yesterday officially welcomed 25 NSCN-K home-comers into its fold.
Officials of the Shepoumaramth Region of NSCN-IM informed that the 26 cadres of the Khaplang group were accorded reception by Rev A Puni Mao, member, collective leadership in the presence of Vaison Vemai, Vice-President of Council of Nagalim Churches and also member of the elite Steering committee; CAO Shepoumaramth Region Joseph, DT Lincoln, former Supervisor of NSCN-K Cease fire monitoring group (CFMG) and other high ranking NSCN-IM officials.
The IM leaders lauded the 'home-comers' who finally decided to join the mainstream and collectively fight for the common cause of the Nagas.
The reception programme was moderated by CAO Joseph.
According to the K cadres, they decided to join its parental government as they see no future hope with NSCN-K group since it is disorganized and drifting away itself from the movement of the Nagas in finding an honourable solution to the six decades of Naga struggle.
Administering the ceremony, Rev A Puni while lauding the K cadres welcomed them into its fold.
In particular, the collective member appreciated the move of NSCN-K CFMG Supervisor DT Lincoln to rejoin the IM fold some months back.
