Govt moots monitoring software

With a view to reduce cases of contempt of Court faced by different Government departments, a software for monitoring court cases would be introduced in Government departments.
A meeting held today with Chief Secretary PC Lawmkunga discussed about installing and introducing the new system.
Among others the meeting was attended by Principal Secretary (IT) Dr Rajesh Kumar, Law Secretary T Rameshchandra and Government advocates participated in the meeting.
All the pending cases of Government departments would be fed into the system and monitored with the help of a software.
The Government has been working to introduce the system from November this year.
In order to introduce the system, the IT Department is currently gathering and computerising all the pending cases pertaining to different departments, informed a source.
