Police arrest 3 suspects in murder case, CDSU calls off bandh

Lamka, February 14 2012:
With the arrest of three suspects in connection with the murder of one Ngaisuanching whose body was retrieved from a nullah here on February 6, the CDSU has called off its proposed 24 hours bandh.
The bandh was reported to begin from midnight today to demand action against the criminals.
The union, in a statement, said the bandh has been called off in the last minute as the police have acted on the demand and booked the suspects.
Hailing the police action, the union stated that their co-operation and prayers are with the Churachandpur Police officials.
The police have on Sunday apprehended 3 suspects including a woman and the former husband of the deceased.
A resident of Suangpekmun, Ginsanglian is reportedly battling for the custody of their children with the deceased.
The woman suspect has been identified as Chonglam of D Phailian.
Nengbiaksang (30) was the other accomplice.
