Peter condoled

The untimely demise of Additional DGP C Peter Ngahanyui has been condoled by Tangkhul Gazetted Officers' Welfare Association and All Manipur Road Transport Drivers and Motor Workers' union.
The passing away of the IPS officer on December 21 morning due to illness is a great loss for the people of Manipur and the vacuum caused by his death will be hard to fill in the days to come, conveyed a condolence note of the Tangkhul Gazetted Officers' Welfare Association, Manipur.
Ukhrul Football Club, informing that C Peter was its founder chairman, remembered the IPS officer as an exemplary Naga leader who rendered invaluable service to the younger generation and was an inspiration for all.
The Club conveyed that it is in the process of developing an exclusive football ground with residential facilities under his guiding vision.
All the organisations also shared sorrow of the bereaved family members and prayed to the almighty for the peaceful rest of the departed soul in the heavenly abode.
Peter left behind his wife Sujata, sons Arthur Worchuiya (IAS) and Thanreingam Simon, and daughter Cecelia (MPS) .
