Manipuri Language Day observed at Khangabok

Patriotic Writers' Forum, Manipur and KM Blooming Higher Secondary School organised a programme to commemorate the Manipuri Language Day at MMRC Unity Park, Khangabok today, reports our correspondent.
The commemoration programme was attended by S Indrakumar, former Station Director, DDK, Diburgarh, Ch Rajkentan, founder chairman of KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, Raghu Leisangthem, Assistant Professor, Kha Manipur College and OC Meira, columnist as presidium members.
Poetry recitation and poetry writing competition on the theme "Imarol" and "Indigenous people" were also held during the programme.
Medical camp held, relief items provided.
Besides organising a free medical camp by Social Warriors for flood affected people of Wangoo Hodam, relief materials were also distributed to the people today, reports our correspondent.
More than 100 people were treated during the camp.
The team will also organise a similar camp at T Moulphei village in Chandel district tomorrow where relief materials would also
be distributed.
