Poor network connectivity disrupts banking services

Villages Council Longmai Area and CSOs of Noney area have appealed to the authorities concerned to look into the issue of poor telecom network connectivity in Noney District to ensure proper functioning of banking services in the district.
It may be mentioned that poor telecom network connectivity in Noney has been causing various hardships including disruption of banking services and online works both in Government and private offices.
Network towers of telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone and Jio which depend on electricity have to cut off service to the public due to the frequent power outage in the district.
In this regard, Villages Council Longmai Area and CSOs of Noney area have appealed to the Telecom companies especially Airtel to provide generator and back-up batteries to the network towers.
The bodies further cautioned that if the companies failed to resolve the issue of poor network connectivity in the district at the earliest, they would resort to democratic form of agitation.
