AMSU District Committee Jiribam celebrates 39th Realisation Day

All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) District Committee, Jiribam celebrated 39th Realisation Day at its conference hall in Babupara today.
Mutum Hemanta Mangang, Chairman, JCILPS, Jiribam branch, Yurembam Sanjiv, president AMSU District Committee, Jiribam, Makakmayum Abdul Hakim, vice president AMSU HQs W Dinesh Meitei, convenor MANPAC, Jiribam branch attended the event as dignitaries.
Floral tributes were paid to the photo of the departed souls of the organisation while the gathering observed a two minute silence to pay respect to them.
Speaking on the occasion, Hemanta Mangang, who graced as the chief guest, stated that one should be aware of one's culture, traditions and roots.
He maintained that there are a number of issues which affect the State and its people till present day, despite being merged to India.
The enforcement of AFSPA and the dedication of Kabow valley to the neighbouring country has sparked a grave problem, he said adding that the people in the hills and the valley should face such threats and issues together.
Meanwhile, president of the function, Yurembam Sanjiv (president of AMSU District Committee Jiribam) added that a work bears fruit only when it is taken up with full dedication.
He motivated all present in the function to work together with dedication and only for the welfare of the people.
