Health Minister extends Cheiraoba wishes

Law and Legislative Affairs Minister L Jayantakumar Singh sends message of greetings to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Cheiraoba wishing good health, unity, peace and solidarity.
He also prays for the Lord's blessings to remain with the people of Manipur during this time of hardship and lockdown worldwide sue to threat of coronavirus.
Appealing to the people, he said that in such a tense situation we must abide by the rules and instructions issues by Government which are issued in public interest for personal safety.
Let the occasion be celebrated in its true spirit, he expressed and prays that a new era of overcoming all hardships to human beings may usher in.
AMGSU greets on Cheiraoba and Nav Barsha
The All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU) extends best wishes on the occasion of Cheiraoba to Hindu Meiteis and Nav Barsha (Gorkha's New Year) to Nepali speaking people of the State, mentions a press release issued by AMGSU.
The All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union also appealed to people to stay at home during this virus outbreak and to respect and co-operate with law enforcing authorities and district administration until total lockdown has been lifted.
Meanwhile, AMGSU has also donated an amount of Rs 60,000/- to Chief Minister's COVID-19 Relief Fund today to support the fight against COVID-19, it said.
