Assam Rifles provides medical treatment at Sehlon village

Sehlon Battalion of Kakching Sector under the aegis of Headquarters IGAR (South) provided timely assistance to an injured labour of Sehlon village on 27 May 2020 .
Sehlon Battalion saved precious life of a labour of Sehlon village by providing first aid & timely medical treatment.
Thangkhotum, resident of Sehlon village, Chandel District (Manipur) is a labour of General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF), who got severely injured while working on stone crusher on 27 May 2020 .
The individual suffered serious injury on his right upper arm, wherein almost one third portion of the arm was badly crushed after it came under a heavy boulder.
The individual was immediately evacuated by co-workers to the MI room of Sehlon battalion.
The Regimental Medical Officer (RMO) along with medical team of the Assam Rifles took no time in extending medical treatment.
The condition stabilised after due course of minor surgery and was then evacuated to civil hospital for further treatment.
The GREF team as well as villagers expressed their gratitude and appreciated such noble gestures being extended by Assam Rifles for the well being of the locals.
