Many demand repoll

Complaints about the alleged 'unfair' conduct of the ADC poll and the demand for repoll became more aggressive.
Addressing a press meet today at Manipur Press Club, Congress candidate of 6-Tousem DCC of Tamenglong ADC, MP Guang accused the NSCN-IM of destroying flags, banner and posters of non-NPF candidates besides abducting and threatening their workers.
He said that one of his workers, Namkutrang�who is also the PRO of MLA Z Kikhonbou, was detained by the NSCN-IM before the election and freed him only after the election was over.
Six of his workers were also put under house arrest by the cadres at Teguaram village, Guang said.
The NSCN-IM cadres involved in the cases were sent to the area from Nagaland and Assam for sole purpose of carrying out such activities, he added.
As such, repoll should be conducted at ten polling stations in 6-Tousem DCC, he demanded.
Addressing another press meet at the same venue, president of NPF Youth Wing, Chandel district, DB Anthony Lamkang said that proxy voting was rampant at five polling stations in 10-Aihang DCC.
He said that Congress supporters in cahoots with the village chief restricted entry of polling agents of other candidates inside the polling booth at 10/1 Aihang polling station.
Due to excessive practice of proxy voting, NPF candidate's agents at 10/4 Angkhel-Chayang, 10/2 New Chayang and 10/5 Mahou Tera left their respective booths.
As such, repoll should be conducted at these polling stations, Anthony demanded.
Highlighting that unknown armed men captured three polling booths�A1, A2 and B at Somdal polling station in 8-Somdal DCC, BJP candidate of the DCC, A Sochipem demanded that repoll be conducted at the particular polling station.
At the same time, pointing out that the ADC election in respect of 7-Kachai DCC, Ukhrul was not fair, election agent to INC candidate of the Kachai seat RK Star has demanded repoll at Leisan Lower, Champhung, Vokngayar and Huimi polling stations.
In a statement, PS Lighter, election agent to the INC candidate has demanded stringent action against the presiding officers of the four polling stations for allegedly violating EC guidelines.
The agent has also lodged a complaint to the RO concerned and demanded repoll at the polling stations.
