Police appeal against rumours

Imphal, May 15 2015 :
In the aftermath of the killing of labourers by KNF and the ugly incidents taking place R K Jhalajit Superintendent of Imphal West appealed the public to stop spreading rumours.
He also said that the involved cadres are already under arrest and they are in the custody of police.
In a press conference he said that a team of police commandos and Manipur Police did a search operation in the intervening night of 12 May and 13 May.
During the operation police found out the bodies of two labourers after which eight KRF cadres involved in the killing were arrested.
People should refrain from spreading rumours so as to prevent untoward incident between two communities.
The minor student undergoing treatment has improved well and there is a rumour that the student had died.
Any wrong information might mislead people and the outcome could be dangerous.
Police Superintendent of all districts are coordinating at their best to prevent from any untoward incident and there is no unwanted incident at present says the SP.
