Shri Guruji Rugnalaya's Seva Sankalp Samiti celebrates 5th Foundation Day

Shri Guruji Rugnalaya's Seva Sankalp Samiti celebrated its 5th foundation day on Sunday by organising a health camp for cancer and general patients.
The camp jointly conducted by Shri Guruji Rugnalaya and Chhabi Sahayog Foundation was inaugurated by Bharti Tai Pawar, Minister of State, Health and family welfare, said a release from Chhabi Sahayog Foundation.
It may be mentioned that Seva Sankalp Samiti works in 40 villages through 6 initiatives with great results thanks to community participation.
More than 500 successful cataract operations were carried out in the last five years free of cost.
Seva Sankalp Committee also worked in two tehsils and approximately in 40 villages in six different fields, like health, education, women empowerment, organic farming, water and sanitation and skill development for youth.

The programme was attended by Sudhir Muthalik (President of Confederation of Indian Industries), Gopal Avatar (Sarpanch of Kotambi), Dr Girish Chakukar (Member of Dr BAVP Trust), Partha Roy(General Secretary of Chhabi Sahayog) and L Bashanta Sharma (Publisher, the Morning Bell daily) .
Radiation oncologist of Shri Guruji Rugnalaya and his associates, Dr Girish Bedre (Oncologist) and Dr Amogh Kale(Onco surgeon) along with all the other speciality doctors and medical students under the Sevankur activity also took part in the camp.
Meanwhile, vice chairman of Chhabi, Rajkumar Raju Singh handed over a draft by L Bashanta Sharma (on behalf of member patients welfare committee, RIMS) to Union MOS, Health and family welfare Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar, requesting to expedite the process to increase MD seats in the department of radio-diagnosis and anaesthesia and invitation to inaugurate newly installed oxygen plants at RIMS, Imphal.
The Minister assured to visit Imphal in the not too distant future to inaugurate the oxygen plants.
