Naga woman dies after falling from Delhi building

New Delhi, September 27 2015:
A 27-year-old woman from Nagaland died here on Sunday while two other man from Manipur received severe injuries, after all three of them fell from the terrace of a building in an inebriated condition, confirmed a senior Delhi police official.
According to the police, all three of them were working in an telecom services company, whose office was situated on the fourth floor of the building located in Krishna Nagar area of South Delhi.
The area is mostly dominated by students and young professionals from the North East people.
The deceased was identified as Lovili from Nagaland, while the other two men are named Robert and Jacob from Manipur.
The name of the company is said to be BDTLEDU Telecom Services.
Speaking on the sequence of events, the police said that the three, who were working in the night shift in the office, had completed their dinner late night and then had drinking sessions.
After that around 3 they again went to the terrace of the building and further consumed alcohol sitting on the reelings of the terrace after which they are believed to have fallen down.
"Listening to a large thud sound, two more employees , Hari Narayan and Sofia who were in the office itself and came out and saw the three lying on the ground in an unconsciuos stage, following which they made a call to the PCR(Police Control Room) at 3.50 a.m.," said the police official who added that on arrival the women was found dead while the two other man were sent to the nearby located All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) .
Speaking on the issue, Amit Gupta, spokesperson of AIIMS told the TNT: "The three were brought to AIIMS at 4.30 a.m.today(Sunday).
While the lady was declared dead on arrival, the other two have been admitted to the trauma center ICU" .
Speaking further about the incident, Gupta said that while Jacob had suffered only bone fractures, the other victim Robert had suffered severe internal injuries because of which he will might have to undergo surgery.
"During the CT scan, it was found that Robert has suffered severe injuries in his abdomen, which is serious.
However, as Jacob's injuries are not much serious we may discharge him after treating his fractures and observation for some time," he said.
Prem Nath, Deputy Commissioner of South Delhi said: "This clearly seems an accident.
However, we have registered a case under Sec 304 A (Causing death by negligence )and 337(Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others.

In the mean while the Naga Student body in Delhi and NGOs have assembled at the premiere hospital to receive the body of the deceased, which will be handed over after autopsy.
