Govt must act on its own order: KIK

Kangpokpi, June 11 2021:
The Kuki Inpi, Kangpokpi has reminded the State Government to act on its own orders and initiate the transfer of all land records to the respective Deputy Commissioners.
It said that being part of the Indian Union and subsequently under the Government of Manipur, "we urge the State Government to govern with the rule of law and accordingly act against any entity or organization that publicly undermines or challenges the legitimacy of the present BJP led Government in the State.
"That being said, the State Government must respond to the allegations made by the Naga People's Organization based at Senapati that they do not recognize or acknowledge the Government order specifically Order No 3/1/Misc/2008-Com(Rev)Pt dated 15-06-2013 regarding transfer of land records and Government notification No 16/20/2016-R dated 08-12-2016 and corrigendum dated 14-12-2016 regarding creation of Kangpokpi district," it added.
It continued that the BJP led Government must prove to its law upholding citizens that such supporters of anarchy and lawlessness will be booked as per provisions of the law.
The Kuki Inpi, Kangpokpi also appealed the Naga People's Organization to look into its own matters and stop indulging in matters related to Kangpokpi district.
