Imphal, March 17 2013 :
Swami Takhellambam of HRD Academy, Ghari who was expelled from the ongoing Class XII examination has demanded that State authorities as well as student organisations investigate intention of a flying squad member of Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur, responsible for his expulsion.
Speaking to newspersons at Manipur Press Club today, Swami s/o Bhupen Kumar Singh of Wangkhei Angom Leikai, contended that he has been falsely implicated for use of unfair means in the said examination inspite of the fact that the flying squad member accused him (Swami) of allowing a fellow student copy from his answer script.
Swami, who was expelled yesterday from Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School centre, contended that he had no idea of the student seated in front of him copying from his answer script as he went to collect an additional answer paper from the invigilator.
Apart from the flying squad member insisting that Swami sign on a paper that he intentionally allowed the other student to copy from him failing which both will have to face dire consequences, the same flying squad member in his report to the Council charged Swami of handing over his extra copy to the other student.
Lamenting that his sincere of effort has been ruined due to the false implication, he fervently appealed to all concerned to not only investigate conduct and intention of the flying squad member but also enable him (Swami) appear in the remaining papers of the ongoing examination.
Swami also claimed that he was humiliated before his colleagues as he was made to remain inside till the examination was over even though his admit card was confiscated by the flying squad member.
