MOBEDS opens remedial coaching centre at Jiri

The Manipur Minorities & OBC Economic Development Society (MOBEDS), under the sponsorship of the Minorities and Other Backward Classes Department, Government of Manipur, today commenced a 6-month free remedial coaching for students of VI to X standards for the minority community at the Ahamedabad High School of Ahamedabad Village, Jiribam sub-division.
Section Officer of MOBEDS Md Abdul Karim, Pradhan of Sonapur Gram Panchayat Md Foej Ahamed, Headmaster of the Ahamedabad High School Ajijul Haque, Assistant Project Officers of MOBEDS/MOBC Md Alam Azad and Anawar Ali were present at the dias during the opening ceremony of the coaching.
Nearly 500 students and guardians were present on the opening day.
The classes would be conducted by 7 tutors with 250 students.
Speakers at the ceremony expressed their immense gratitude towards the undertakings of MOBEDS and also conveyed the need of such coaching classes for students of the minority community.
Anawar Ali opined the need of a committee to look into the needs of thecoaching classes, also appealing to the residents to cooperate in the undertakings.
