KSO Sadar Hills appeals for safe release of Jagat Singh

The Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills today appealed for the safe release of Jagat Singh, s/o Lala Singh of Wangjing Leikai along with his hijacked vehicle.
Jagat Singh who was engaged in mending potholes along NH-2 under contractors Khaisat Kipgen and Hekai Chongloi was kidnapped by unknown armed miscreants while he was loading stone chips on January 14 near Taphou Kuki village at around 8.30 am.
Thangminlen Kipgen, president KSO Sadar Hills appealed to the unknown armed abductors to release Jagat Singh unconditionally along with his Mahindra Jeep while cautioning that there may be unsolicited problems if intense agitation is taken up.
The student body president also appealed to every organization/individual to refrain from executing uncalled-for crimes along the highway in future so as to strengthen peaceful coexistence in the area.
In the meantime, a reliable source reported that the abducted trio of a Tata truck plying along the NH-2 on January 11 has been released after two days after family members of the trio and the vehicle owner paid a ransom to the unknown abductors.
