Nagaland DGP K Kire, IPS, is one again heading to spend his "X-mas" with the 10 NAP (IR) jawans, officials and their families who are now at Purulia in West Bengal fighting "nexalite militants" .
Last year too, the State Police Chief had spent his "X-mas" with the 9 NAP (IR) jawans, officials and their families posted at Delhi.
These jawans, who are guarding vital installations in the nation's capital, will be there till April next year.
Talking to NEPS here at his office chamber today, the DGP said he was leaving tomorrow for Ranchi by flight and then from there by road to Purulia, West Bengal to join "X-mas" celebrations with his jawans, officials and their family members of 10 NAP (IR).

"I am quite busy most of the time and I thought I should go to Purulia in West Bengal during this X-mas festive season and mingle with my 10 NAP(IR) jawans, officials and family members," shared the DGP.
Kire disclosed that there were six companies there in Purulia and little fund were given to each of them for the X-mas festivities.
"I would be joining them and spend joys of X-mas with them there," he said adding, " I had spent my last X-mas with my 9 NAP (IR) jawans, officials and their family members posted at Delhi." It was "unforgettable" experience spending with my jawans in such festive seasons, he stated.
The DGP also said 10 NAP (IR) jawans at Purulia had been doing well.
He however regretted the incident that had happened some time back where one of the jawans shot one sentry dead and subsequently one official Dominic Zeliang who tried to bring the situation under control.
Kire also said the Naga jawan who in now jail was telling he could not recollect the crime he committed.
At times, he murmured saying he wasn't aware what went wrong with him, the DGP mentioned.
