No force can destroy peaceful co-existence of various communities in state: Ibobi

Chief Minister, O Ibobi today said that government will not allow communal forces to be active in the state where different communities are residing together in harmony.
The Chief Minister sent out the message while taking part in the eid-ul-fitr celebration at Sadar Bazar, Masjid road.
The Chief Minister said the basic idea of eid-ul-fitr is to living in harmony and love.
Manipur is like a mini India where different communities with religions have settled together.
There is no restriction in following any religion of one's choice.
Following a religion is upto one's own will, he said.
Larger communities should not think of suppressing smaller communities.
So far, people of the state have been living together in harmony and peace.
Government is ready to fight all challenge to break this long existence of peaceful co-existence, Ibobi said.
The occasion held at Sadar Bazar was also attended by rural development and panchayati raj minister Md Allaudin and secretary of the Sadar Bazar Jama Masjid among others.
All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) in association with Young Star Sporting Union (YSSU) also celebrated eid-ul-fitr at Keikhu Community Hall.
Meitei-Pangals of Yairipok Changamtabi also celebrated the day with a mass prayer to Allah.
Noted religious personalities of the state took part in the mass prayer ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the Development Organisation of Andro Kendra recalled that eid-ul-fitr is celebrated after a month of fasting with prayer to Allah to forgive all the wrong deeds committed in the past.
A donation drive for extending a helping hand to the poor and weaker section of the society was held after the prayer ceremony.
