Imphal, February 07:
The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum has directed the Postal Department to pay a fine of Rs 8000 to one Aheibam Amarjit Singh, son of A Thoiba Singh of Kongba Kshetri Leikai on the ground of 'Deficiency of Service.' The ruling came after the complainant filed a petition that his Speed Post order for a policy was not delivered to the addressee even after one month.
Advocates G Bijoychandra Sharma, Romio and Suresh appeared on behalf of the complainant.
