14th Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament 2025 to begin on October 11

Imphal, July 29 2025: The 14th edition of the Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament, organised by the Zeliangrong Football Association (ZFA), is set to commence on October 11, 2025, according to a press release issued by the ZFA .

As per the release, this year's opening and closing ceremonies, along with the final match, will be held at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, Imphal East.

League and knockout stage matches will take place at the SAI Football Grass Ground and Turf Ground, NERC Takyel, Imphal.

The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh, while the runners-up will receive Rs 1 lakh, along with trophies.

Additional group and individual awards include "Best Disciplined Team" and "Best Parade Team" (group), and "Best Player", "Best Goalkeeper", and "Top Scorer" (individual) .

These will carry cash prizes of Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively, along with trophies, the ZFA stated.

All Zeliangrong village youth clubs from Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland are invited to sponsor one team each for the tournament.

Entry forms will be issued from August 18 to September 20, 2025 on all working days except Sundays, with the final date for submission set for September 27, 2025 .

According to the ZFA, entry forms can be collected from its head office at Kakhulong, Paona Bazar, Imphal, between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.

The entry form fee is fixed at Rs 1,000 and the registration fee at Rs 5,000 .
