CYCLONE overpowered PTCC by 201 runs to take the top spot in the Elite Tournament from CHAMP, who defeated SCCC by seven wickets.
The Sunday's action also saw RULE prevail against CRAU.
Following their emphatic triumph, CYCLONE now lead the point table with 15 points from nine matches by virtue of their superior net run rate against CHAMP, who also have 15 points.
CYCLONE put up a competitive 235/6 after deciding to bat.
The Thangmeiband squad's total revolved around a collective effort from Aditya Prasad (55), Kishan Laishram (52), Nongthombam Denin (44 not out), Kabrambam Homendro Meitei (33 not out) and Kabrambam Homendro Meitei (23) .
Then, Loktongbam Santosh Meitei ripped apart PTCC's batting lineup, scalping six wickets to help CYCLONE finished off the job in 16 overs.
Abdul Kasim, who took two wickets, and Maisnam Raju Singh, who got one, also contributed to their resounding win.
Only Hijam Hemachandra Singh (12) managed to reach double figures in PTCC's crushing defeat as they could only make 34 in their debacle run chase that saw six ducks.
CHAMP thrashed SCCC by seven wickets.
Electing to field, CHAMP bundled out their opponents for 166 in 39.1 overs as Keisham Kennedy shone with the ball for the Khagempalli side, taking five wickets.
On the other hand, both Moirangthem Thomas Singh and Nitesh Sedai claimed two scalps, with Md Sultan Karim contributing one.
Laishram Ronson Singh was the main performer for SCCC, scoring 60.Chasing 167, CHAMP wrapped up the win in 25.2 overs with significant contributions from Nitesh Sedai (64 not out), Samir (52) and Lairenjam Ansh Singh (34 not out).
For SCCC, Roshan Das took two wickets and Sandeep Chakraborty got one.
In other match, RULE beat CRAU by two wickets.
CRAU chose to bat and were dismissed for 143 in 24.3 overs.
Potshangbam Ronil (53) and Lamabam Jotin Singh (52) batted well, but fellow batsmen failed to perform in their innings.
Nongthombam Sarojkumar Singh led the RUE attack, grabbing four wickets.
Sanjenbam Ananda Singh also impressed with three scalps while Thokchom Kishan Singh had two and Avinash Asmali bagged one.
In their response, Jay Singh led the way with 70 while Sanjenbam Ananda Singh made 25 to help RULE achieve the target in 35.2 overs with two wickets remaining.
