U16 boys cricket: RCA, ESU, TCMDC enjoy emphatic wins

RCA, ESU and TCMDC recorded emphatic wins as MPA defeated TRAU by 22 runs in the 4th MNCA U16 Boys Trophy on Monday.
RCA hammered YWC-L by 9 wickets at Public Ground Khangabok Part-Ill, Cherapur.
They bowled out their opponents in 32.1 overs for 83 after dishing out a disciplined bowling attack that saw Nawas scalp 4 wickets, Zunad and Naish take 2 each, and Danish and Md Soib bag 1 apiece.
RCA then needed just 9.3 overs to knock off the runs, losing 1 wicket in their chase.
Md Anush hit an unbeaten 45, Md Safwan made 11 and Md Saad scored 7 not out to guide their team to a comprehensive victory.
ESU, on the other hand, overwhelmed YPHUC by 226 runs at Dhobi Lampak, Kongba Khunou.
Unbeaten knocks by Venus (88) and Naoba (72), backed by Abhinash's 46 and Donba's 19, helped ESU set a respectable total of 272 in 33 overs.
They lost 2 wickets in the process.
ESU followed it up with a brilliant bowling display spearheaded by Simesh to bundle out YPHUC in 14.5 overs for a mere 46.Simesh claimed 6 wickets while Bishomcha and Donba had 2 scalps each in their thumping victory.
TCMDC beat YUCC by 6 wickets at Lairenjam Public Ground.
TCDMC skittled out YUCC in 32.2 over for 128 runs and then they wrapped up the win in 22 overs.
The winning side's bowling attack saw Rain pick up 3 wickets while Moramba, Thomsan and Prakash took 2 each, with Vishonath taking 1.In their reply, Rain smashed an unbeaten 61 as Thomsan scored 23 and Valinda was unbeaten on 9 to propel their team to a dominant victory.
At Oriental College Ground, MPA registered a 22-run success against TRAU.
MPA batted first and were all out for 98 in 32,4 overs.
Despite their low total, MPA successfully defended their total after stopping TRAU in 34.1 overs for 76 .
