YAWA celebrates success at State Level Sepaktakraw Championship

Imphal, April 29 2025: Youth Amateur Welfare Association (YAWA), Singjamei Leishangthem Leikai today accorded a warm reception to the association teams who shone at the recently concluded State Level Sepaktakraw Championships in a function today at the YAWA indoor stadium.

Notably, YAWA teams bagged as many as 9 medals including 3 gold medals across different competitions of the championship that was hosted by IMSUC, Heingang under the aegis of the all Manipur Sepaktakraw Association.

YAWA teams won gold medal in the mini girls' regu event, sub-junior boys regu event, junior boys regu event while they finished runners up in the mini boys regu event, sub-junior girls regu event, sub-junior boys regu event, sub-junior boys quadrant event and senior men's quadrant event in the said championships.

Junior boys and senior men in the meanwhile won bronze medals in the quad event and regu event respectively, said YAWA in a statement.
