Al-ameen, Keibung crushed Keibung Knight Riders by 97 runs to wrest the title of the 3rd State Level Open tennis ball cricket tournament.
In the final match played today at Keibung Wangmataba Public Ground, Al-ameen batsmen scored an imposing 150 runs in 18.4 overs before the bowlers skittled out the rivals in 19.3 over for only 55 runs.
Shahjahan of All-ameen was declared both man of the match and tournament, organised by Keibung Wangmataba Social Development Organisation since January 12 with 24 teams participating.
Yumnam Huidrom: YPU (Langthabal), TUSU (Upokpi) and Bikram XI (Yumnam Huidrom) scripted convincing victories against their respective opponents on the second day of the 4th Bikram Memorial State Level Cricket Tournament at YPC ground today.
The first match of the day between YPU and Khagemba, Kyamgei saw eventual man of the match Kamando wreak havoc with the ball claiming three scalps as the Kyamgei side were bundled out in the seventh over for 41 runs on board.
YPU overhauled the target reaching 43 runs in 7.3 overs for the loss of five wickets.
In TUSU's four wicket triumph in the second match, man of the match Guneshwor ruined Lucky XI, Hiyangthang by claiming three wickets.
chasing Lucky XI's total of 80 runs scored in 11.5 overs, the Upokpi side made 81 for six in 10.1 over.
Guneshwor also contributed 12 runs in the team's run chase.
The last match won by Bikram XI by 99 runs had man of the match Rahul toying with the Derby, Uripok bowlers for his smashing knock of 81 runs from 48 balls.
While Rahul's knock helped the team post 182 for six in the 15-over game, the Derby run chase ended at 83 runs in 14.5 overs.
