Manipur emerge team champions of National Kick Boxing Championship

Manipur emerged overall team champions of the Cadet, Junior & Senior WAKO India National Kick Boxing Championship 2024, which wrapped up on Sunday at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
On the final day of competition, the state team added 14 gold medals to their tally for their championship title.
Manipur won a total of 39 medals, including 24 gold, eight silver, and seven bronze.
In addition to their 14 gold, Manipur collected four silver and six bronze medals on the last day of the championship.
The final day saw S Puinakanta Singh win gold medal in full contact -51kg event and silver in musical form, while both Delvin Thongam (musical form & kick light) and Achanba Chingakham (low kick & musical form) claimed one gold and one silver each.
The other gold medallists were Ningthoujam Mavin (low kick 60kg), Ch Yoibuyoihenba (kick light -63kg), Hidam Adison Meetie (K-1 -51kg), Ningombam Lanchenba Singh (low kick 57kg), Sagolsem Youngone Singh (low kick -51kg), Thoudam Henthoiba Singh (low kick -63.5kg), K Robertson (light contact -74kg), L Dhana Chandra (K-1 -91kg), Lisham Brajakumar Singh (kick light -79kg), Ningombam Nong-daingamba (full contact -57kg) and S Julia Devi (musical form) .
