Imphal, May 26 2025: MEIRAA, Bashikhong and MPSC-A entered the final of the 2nd UNACCO Cup (2nd State Level 9-A-Side Men's Open Hockey Tournament) being held at SEYO, Astro Turf.

In the first semi-final on Monday, Th Kirankumar scored eight goals (1st, 4th, 8th, 33rd, 47th, 49th, 53rd and 57th) and S Suresh contributed one (17th penalty corner) in as MPSC-A crushed the B team 9-1 to storm into the summit round.

The solitary goal of MPSC-B came from Birjit (32nd) .

In contrast, the second last four clash between MEIRAA and KHSC, Khongman stretched to the sudden death with the former winning at 1-0 .

Both teams were locked 2-2 at the end of the final hooter.

The MEIRAA goals were scored by Sachin (16th & 59th) as captain Sushil (18th) and Bishnu (38th) equalised for KHSC .

The resultant penalty shootout also ended at 3 goals apiece, forcing the sudden death where MEIRAA eventually prevailed.
