ATL 2023 : Stage set for men's singles SFs

Imphal, January 19 2023: The semifinal line up of men's singles of the 12th CYLC State Open Tennis Tournament 2023 underway at Singjamei Chingamathak have been completed.

The tournament which began on January 18 last organised by Association of Tennis Lovers under the aegis of Manipur Tennis Association will continue till January 22 .

In today's quarterfinal matches, Bushan Haobam defeated Nonginsana 9-0, Padameshwar beat Pritam 9-5, Becker overwhelmed Bona 9-4 and Shankar thrashed Amaijeet 9-0 to book their places in the last four stage.

In men's doubles (50+ yrs category) semifinals, the duo of Ranjan and Balkrishna beat the pair of Ibohal and Pradip 4-6, 6-3, (10-6) in a closely contested match.

The semifinal line up of men's doubles for 40+ years have also been completed as Bona and Iboton outperformed Kennedy and Sanatomba 9-2, Kangjamba and Rakesh beat Aldrin and Chaoba 9-7 and Pritam and Korounganba defeated Domson and Romen 9-3 .
