Imphal, September 17 2024: Keisham Bikash Singh netted four goals as Manipur secured their second straight win in style with an 8-0 thrashing of Gujarat in their Group B encounter at the Sub-Junior Boys' National Football Championship 2024-25 held at Bangalore Football Stadium on Monday.

Laishram Mahesh Singh opened the scoring in the 8th minute, followed by Dennison Pukhrambam in the 26th minute.

Bikash then tripled the lead in the 29th minute before ran riot pumping in three goals in the 52nd, 60th and 62nd minutes, completing his four-goal blitz.

Susan Waikhom found their seventh goal in the 75th minute, and Sapam Sarjit Singh closed out the game with an 85th-min-ute goal as Manipur enjoyed a comprehensive victory to stay atop their group standings with six points from two games.

Manipur will next face Jharkhand on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 .
