Imphal, February 03 2009: AS The ongoing 7th OFA cup 2009 organised by Oriental Football Academy (OFA), Pungdongbam entered its second day, SRC, Khurai and Three Star Union (TSU) Nillakuthi won their respective match today.

It may be recalled that the tournament is being participated by 14 different teams viz four groups.

Today's first match was played between SRC, Khurai and YDCL, Pungdongbam of group C.SRC won the match after defeating YDCL 2-1 in a tough match.

Both team's players found it hard to dominate over one another as both team played the match with equal skills.

Players of both team tried several goal attempts at various moments.

But no players of the two team could not edged a single goal against each other in the first half.

Both team's players charge many goal attacks with new tactics in the second half.

The first goal of the match was scored by Rocky of SRC in the 40th minute of the match.

YDCL players tried at their best level to equalise the score position.

But their hearts almost sank when Y Jet lee of SRC scored his team's second goal against them in the 42nd minute.

But they recovered soon from the shock they recieve from the two consecutive goals and tried their best to equalise the score.

As a result of their hard efforts, they managed to score one goal against SRC in the 44th minute.

It was scored by Th Premjit of YDCL.

After that both team's players played the match more substantially making it hard for their opponent team to score more goal against them.

As the match progressed towards the end YDCL had to accept defeat to SRC when they could not scored any further goal against SRC.

The second match today was played between Three Star Union (TSU) Nillakuthi and Palmei Bros (PB) Sawombung Kabui Khunjao.

The match was won by TSU after defeating PB in an easy-to-win match.

TSU players played the match with full coordination among them from the very beginning and treid many goal attempts against PB.

Players of PB found it hard to face the onslaughts of TSU.

The first goal of the match was an own goal by Palmei Puma of PB when Ingobi of TSU struck a goal attempt against PB in the 6th minute of the match.

L Kenny of TSU contribute a major role for his team towards their grand succes in today's match by scoring three goals against PB.

He scored his three goals in the 7th, 14th and 57th minute of the match.

Manimohon, Ingobi and Bikram of TSU also scored one goal each in the 48th, 50th and 59th minute of the match respectively.

On the other hand the only goal of Palmei Bros was scored by P Roskson in the 49th minute of the match.

As TSU players played the match more skillfully PB's players could not scored any further goal till the end of the match and had to lose the match to TSU by 7-1 .

Tomorrow's first match will be played between DTFA, Awang Potsangbam and YYC, Yourabung at 12 noon.

Rai Bros, Pangei and PRSC, Pourabi will play the second match tomorrow at 2 pm in the evening.
