Imphal, April 29 2025: 7-Star Heirok came out all guns blazing to overwhelm Sur Hospital FC 6-0 in the Group C opening match of the 3rd Maipakpi Trophy State Level 9-A-Side Football Tournament this afternoon at City Club ground, Heirok Litan Makhong.

Adison opened the scoring for 7-Star after 27 minutes before Chingkhei (29') and Krishnanda (34') took their turns to make it 3-0 .

The scoring spree continued with John scoring the team's fourth in the 49th minute before Kh Arun (50') and S Johnson (52') further extended the lead to 6-0.Later in the second Group B match, Irom Mocha (35') and M Berlin (40') scored to hand MMFA, Heirok a 2-1 win over RSFC, Sanjenbam after Devid put RSFC ahead after 12 minutes.

In the second Group C match staged later, Khurai FC played out a 1-1 draw with Rabi Jewellery.

Leishemba scored in the 38th minute to earn Rabi Jewellery the lead but Ranjan drew level for Khurai FC in the 48th minute.
