ISL Auction: Kh Thoi Singh is worth base price of Rs.39 lakhs

Imphal, June 27 2015 : Ace Central midfielder for Bengaluru FC Kh Thoi Singh is reported to have undergone routine medical tests for the second edition of the the Indian Super League (ISL) football.

Kh Thoi is a Manipuri professional footballer who had played plays commendable role as the central midfield and has received accolades for his skill and ball-winning efforts.

According to the international agency Libero Sports that represents more than 10 Manipuri players, Thoi has been selected for the first ever player Auction for the 2nd edition of Indian Super League 2015 at a base price of Rs.39 lakhs.

Despite not being called for the National team, due to his performances in the last season, he has managed to stay on par with other top Indian players through sheer hard work, said the agency.

He now is amongst the top 10 Players most wanted in the ISL Auction.

Libero Sports hopes that like Thoi, there is a need to highlight contributions of Manipuri players to further motivate youngsters and football aspirants in Manipur so that they "work hard and follow their dreams of becoming a professional" .

"If Thoi Singh can do it, so can anyone with the right attitude, right determination, of course without lacking in the talent or skill set of becoming a professional", said Nula Kohringam, Manager, Operations of Libero Sports.

He says Manipur always has been a hotbed of talents, they deserved to be honored and supported.

Thoi Singh in particular has an amazing story as he rose from the lowest level football club to be with the I League Champions Club, Bengaluru FC and being the Top 10 player in the country with a staggering seven figure base price of Rs.39,00,000 .
