Manipur Basketball Association names State Sub-junior Boys' team

Imphal, September 15 2025: The Manipur Basketball Association has announced the 12-member State squad for the 50th National Sub-Junior Basketball Championship to be hosted by Uttarakhand in Dehradun from October 4 to 10.The players who made it to the State team for the National championship are Thiyam Billgates, Potsangbam Shriyans, and Okram Barun of Youth Club; Thokchom Gison, Naorem Lanchenba, Asem Nelson, and Achom Phoenix of Model Club; Keithellakpam Anderson, L Tomthilnganba, and Chongtham Eddie of LMYVA; Phurailatpam Anshuman of ESU; and Chongtham Chitan of YOSC.

The players should report to head coach T Nilamani; coaches Naorem Jackson, Y Kaasper and Achom Borish at Dharmalaya Social Welfare Centre Basketball Court, Brahmapur Nahabam daily for further training and coaching, said the Manipur Basketball Association in an order issued in this regard.
