Imphal, May 14 2009: In today's matches of the 15th State Level Women's Hockey Championship, 2009 organised by the Women's Hockey Association of Manipur, MEIRAA, Bashikhong and SLO, Bishnupur beat their respective opponents.

The first match today was played between MEIRAA, Bashikhong and SSA, Charangpat.

The match was won by MEIRAA after defeating SSA 8-1 after playing an easy-to win match.

Players of MEIRAA played the match dominantly from the beginning.

They at various moments attempted many goal attacks.

SSA players found it hard to face the various attacks of MEIRAA.

They could scored only one goal against MEIRAA in the match.

It was scored in the 15th minute of the match by M Roshini.

On the other hand, N Inakhunbi of MEIRAA scored two goals against SSA in the 1st and 10th minutes of the match.

Th Kiranmala and B Memtombi also scored two goals each against SSA in the match.

Kiranmala scored the two goals in the 36th and 52nd minutes of the match while Memtombi scored the two goals in the 47th and 50th minute of the match.

The other two goals of MEIRAA were scored by Kh Nirmala and Ch Sunibala.

Nirmala scored her goal in the 18th minute and Sunibala scored in the 54th minute of the match.

SLO, Bishnupur and Ideal Club, Tera (TIC) played the second match today.

SLO beat TIC 2-0 and won the match.

The whole match was dominantly played by the players of SLO from the beginning.

They at various moments attempted many goal attacks against TIC.

However, TIC players played the match to their fullest skills and tried hard to defend themseleves against the various attacks of SLO.

The first goal of the match was scored in the 12th minute of the match.

It was scored by S Rolly of SLO.

With one goal ahead of them, TIC players tried hard to equalise the score.

But all their efforts went into vain when Rolly again striked another goal against them in the 46th minute of the match.

However hard they tried, TIC players could not scored a single goal against SLO and lose the match.
