Ksh Manglemsana bags individual compound gold in Senior State Archery Championship

Imphal, February 20 2023: Ksh Manglemsana of VAA earned the gold medal in the women's individual compound event in the 32nd Senior Men's and Women's State Archery Championship underway at SAI NERC Takyel.

Manglemsana shot 138 points to seal the top honour as P Lily of SAIRC collected 136 points to settle for silver medal.

Snehal of ARAC finished third in this event having shot 139 in the semi-final round.

L Yohenba of SAIRC in the meantime fetched the men's individual compound gold beating Manish Kumar Dubby of ARAC 140-137 in the final.

Welson Meitei Takhellambam of ARAC finished third in this competition.

Ksh Manglemsana bags individual compound gold in Senior State Archery Championship

In the mixed team compound event, UAC's pair of M Bikram and M Rupan shot 151 points together to seal the gold medal as VAA's Yumnam Langthoiba and Ksh Manglemsana won silver with 136 points and ARAC's pair of Manish Kumar Dubby and Snehal Mandhare bagged bronze (153 points) .

In the men's team compound competition, MPSC team comprising Y Niranjan, Ch Bimol and K Somen had a narrow 224-223 win over ARAC team of Manish Kumar, P Jagat, Welsen Takhellambam and G Robert Sharma to win the top honour.

UAC team of M Bikram, RK Priyobarta, M Robinson and Ng Lamnganba who gathered 227 points in the semi-final finished third.
