Imphal, September 15 2025: Monsang Pantha YCC set up the final date of the DC Chandel Trophy 2nd Division Football Tournament with Angkhel Chayang YCC as they routed Mahamani YC by 5-0 goals in a one sided semifinal encounter today at Chandel Sports Complex.

Ng Rolish starred with a double in this lopsided match as Monsang Pantha YCC dominated the possession and scoring chances throughout the game.

Monsang Pantha YCC took just 8 minutes to take the lead as Ng Rolish made the most of a fine effort before Ng Thomas doubled the advantage in the 24th minute.

W Bishorjit struck the team's third two minutes after the restart as Mahamani YC continued to find their composure.

Mahamani YC's condition further worsened as W Henery converted a penalty in the 51st minute before Ng Rolish returned to action and rifled home the final goal in the 56th minute.

Monsang Pantha YCC had outlasted Lamphou Pasna YC 1-0 in the pre-quarterfinal match before defeating Penaching DC 13-12 on penalties after a 4-4 regulation time draw in the quarterfinal.
