NAPSA crush KCC by 9 wickets in Veteran Cricket

Imphal, January 11 2025: NAPSA, Kha Imphal notched up a 9-wicket win over KCC, Kongba in a Group D match of the ongoing 21st Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground today.

NAPSA bundled out toss winners KCC for 150 runs in 30 overs before chasing down the target in 21.1 overs riding on T Bhogendro's unbeaten 71-ball 93 .

Samukcham Robertson 24, th Tomba 27 and H Kiran 17 led the scoring for KCC after they won the toss and elected to bat first.

The innings saw NAPSA's Gopal Sharma (3/31) and Simom Yumnam (2/34) sharing five wickets as T Bhogendra, Ibobi Irengbam and Premananda Laishram chipped in with a wicket apiece.

In the chase, NAPSA only lost Chungkham Somorendro 38 before Bhogendro and Simom Yumnam 17 not out finished off the chase.

T Bhogendro, who was 7 runs away from hitting a ton today after picking a wicket, was adjudged man of the match.

CYCLONE, Thangmeiband will play BKCC, Bamon Kampu in the next match on January 13 .
