Nungnang Circle Youth Orgn greets triumphant volleyball teams

Imphal, June 01 2025: The Nungnang Circle Youth Organisation (NCYO), Khoupum Sub Division, Noney District congratulated its men and women's teams who emerged champions at the "First All Tribal Volleyball Tournament" held at ZESA Mini Ground, Majuron Kabui village, Loktak Project, Churachandpur district from May 26 to 30.NCYO beat Chaiba Youth Club and Chil Chil team in the men and women's final matches to seal the top honours, said NCYO while expressing pride over the teams in a press note.

They demonstrated exceptional skill, determination and team work throughout the tournament and their victory is a testament to their dedication and resilience, it said.

The tournament was exhilarating with teams representing different clubs across the region taking part in the event and becoming the triumphant teams was a significant achievement for the organisation, it said.

The championship will be remembered for ages and inspire many volleyball players, it added.
