SHADOW, THAU victorious in 3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy

Imphal, April 29 2025: SHADOW, Thangmeiband and THAU, Thangmeiband emerged victorious in Group A and Group B league matches of the 3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy today.

At Kongba Dhobi Lampak, SHADOW pulled off a 26-run victory against PTCC, Patsoi after winning the toss opting to bat first.

SHADOW gathered 144/9 in the allotted 35 overs thanks to Laishram Viviene 40 off 57 and Sapam Kebriya 32 off 40 and rode on concerted bowling effort from Sagatpam Henthoibi (3/24 in 4 overs), Hanglem Priyanshee (2/14 in 6.3 overs) and Sapam Kebriya (2/24 in 7 overs) to bowl out PTCC for 118 runs in 29.3 overs.

For PTCC, Bandana (2/11) and Niruka (2/14) shared four wickets as Kh Angoubi, Laishram Bigyapati and Takhelmayum Sanaloo picked up a wicket apiece.

In reply, only four batters - Sanaloo 22 off 40 not out, L Prena 14 off 48, Niruka 11 off 16 and Bandana 10 off 12 managed double digit scores for PTCC .

Sagatpam Henthoibi who starred with the ball for SHADOW was adjudged player of the match.

Elsewhere at THAU ground, THAU sealed a commanding 8-wicket win over PTRC, Patsoi for their first win in two Group B matches.

Put in to bat first, PTRC were bundled out for 75 runs in 21.1 overs despite Konsam Sayatombi's 37 off 63 balls as Pungmayum Milky (2/10) and Ahongsangbam Thoithoibi (2/17) of THAU shared four wickets while 5 others departed on run outs.

THAU then cruised to the target thanks to contributions from Nganthoi Salam 24 off 50 and Usham Robeni 23 not out off 33.Pungmayum Milky was adjudged player of the match.
