Imphal, May 26 2025: The 1st Mega Manipur Table Tennis Tournament organised by Manipur Table Tennis Women's Wing under the aegis of Manipur Table Tennis Association (MTTA) concluded on Monday at DM University Indoor Stadium. In U-11 girls' final, Bincy Thokchom (Imphal West) defeated Shanglakpam Nelly (Imphal East) 11-9, 11-8, 11-7, while Athoiba Rajkumar (Imphal East) beat L Sisil Singh (Kakching) 14-12, 6-11, 11-3, 11-7 in U-11 boys' final.

Bincy also wrested the U-13 girls' title defeating district-mate Brishtee Thokchom 11-6, 7-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-5 with Ambrose Nameirakpam (Thoubal) winning the U-13 boys' final by defeating RK Sahil Singh (Imphal West) 8-11, 17-15, 11-8, 11-9 .

In U-15 girls' final, Angkita Sanjenam (IW) defeated Riya Ningombam (TBL) 11-4, 11-6, 11-8 as Purnachandra Yengkhom (TBL) outplayed district-mate Hemjit Sagolsem 12-10, 11-9, 11-7 in U-15 boys' final.

N Colman and Th Dharmendra won the men's doubles open title by trouncing Shidarth N and Nelson Ksh 11-9, 11-4, 11-7 .

In men's 60-plus doubles final, S Joychandra and T Manihar prevailed over S Chandra and AK Rajkumar 11-9, 11-2, 11-5, while in men's 65+ singles final S Chandra outplayed RK Debendra 11-6, 11-6, 11-5 .

The closing function of the tournament was attended by Singjamei MLA Yumnam Khemchand Singh, MTTA president H Devshekhar Sharma, Babina Groups of Company chairman & managing director Dr Th Dhabali Singh and DM College of Commerce ex-principal Sh Sanahanbi Devi, among others, as presidium members.
