36th State Sub-Junior Kabaddi Tournaments from April 15

Imphal, April 13 2025: The 36th edition of State Sub-Junior Boys and Girls' Cash Prize Kabaddi Tournaments are beginning on April 15 under the aegis of the Manipur State Kabaddi Association.

The boys' championship will see 9 teams clubbed into two groups play for top honours.

AMDASCAM, Lilong; MYA, Leikinthabi; KALIKA, Wabagai and SLYO, Tekcham are clustered in Group A while 5 teams including VETO, Laphupat Tera; ICDF, Irong Chesaba; BDKA, Bishnupur; MYC, Heirok and Kumbi UPS are draw in Group B .

VETO will play ICDF in the opening match slated for April 15 at 3 pm.

Meanwhile the girls' championship features 6-teams clubbed into two groups (Imphal East, Kumbi UPS and BDKA in Group A and CARD, Wabagai; VETO, Laphupat Tera and HYO, Heirok in Group B) .

Group winners and runners up of the two groups in both the championships will advance to the semi-finals before the title clashes slated for April 19 .

Meanwhile, Salam Amarjit Singh 1st Memorial Junior Boys and Girls' Cash Prize Kabaddi Tournaments are set to commence from April 18 .

8 teams clubbed into two groups are participating in the boys' tournament while 4 teams will vie for girls' title.

ICDF; ARAMBAI Unit-5, Heirok; ALUC, Angom Leikai and AMDASCAM are drawn together in Group A for the boys competition while SLYO, MYA, KALIKA and VETO are clustered in Group B .

Top two teams after league round will advance to the semi-finals before the final match slated for April 19 .

The girls' tournament in the meantime features HYO, Imphal East, CARD and VETO.

The winners and runners up after round robin league will play in the title clash on April 19 .
