Ibudhou Nongshaba Football : KAKSA, Lucky Star complete semi-final line up

KAKSA defeated Kill FC by 3-2 goals on penalties after 1-1 draw while Lucky Star survived a late scare to seal a 4-3 win over MSFC, Heingang in today's quarter final matches of the ongoing 1st State Level Ibudhou Nongshaba 7-A Side Open Football Tournament-2018 being organised by Karam Awang Leikai Young Club (KALYC) at Karam Kangjeibung.
The third quarter final match of the tournament saw KAKSA and Kill FC played out a 1-1 draw during normal time and the winners were decided via a penalty shoot out.
KAKSA opened up the account early in the 3rd minute through Imdad but Tondon of Kill FC was able to drew level in the 31 st minute when he fired in a clinical shot past the rival's custodian.
The scoreline remained undisturbed till the final whistle and penalty shootout was called in to determine the winners.
In the shoot-out Shah Jahan, Ajo and Imdad slotted home the ball while Fajabi and Tondon were able to dispatch the ball into the net to go down by 2-3 goals.
In the last quarter final match of the tournament, Sangkar Scored a brace to hand Lucky Star a 4-3 win over determined MSFC.
Lucky star had a brilliant start as Sangkar scored the opener early in the 7th minute before Jotin doubled the lead with a power-packed shot in the 23rd minute.
The goal fest continued as they kept the pressure upon the Heingang side intact and it was in the 25th minute that Sangkar struck his second goal and his team's third and handed his team a 3-0 lead while his team mate Manimohan scored another to make it 4-0 .
MSFC who were already worn down however made a strong comeback with a never say die approach and it was in the 29th minute that Kiran opened the scoring and made it 1-4.Lucky star who were sitting back with a huge lead was again surprised as Shitaljit scored two goals in the 31st and the 43rd minute reducing the gap to only one goal.
Lucky Star, who were losing the grip over the ball had to stuck well and firm against marauding rival players and successfully denied them from restoring parity to wrap up the game 4-3 .
