Imphal, July 28 2024: Khangembam Bikash of Classic Strength Gym, Bishnupur claimed the Mr Bishnupur title in the 14th Mr Bishnupur District Bodybuilding Contest 2024 hosted by Bishnupur District Bodybuilders Association (BDBBA) in collaboration with Pakhangba Fitness and Khongbu Manga Fitness Centre, Kumbi at Kumbi College auditorium.

As many as 20 players from 11 gyms were in the frays for top honours in the junior and senior men's bodybuilding and men's sports physique competitions of the district event organised under the aegis of All Manipur Body Builders Association.

Bikash won the district title as he finished on top of the senior men's bodybuilding competition.

Nongmaithem Veloson of NFC, Nambol finished second in the same competition as Khomdram Kripananda of Muscle Factory, Kakching; Chingkham Chinglensana of United Gym, Bishnupur and Haobijam Norjit of United United Gym, Bishnupur finished third, fourth and fifth.

The junior men's bodybuilding title in the meantime went to Nongmaithem Veloson as M Rabichandra of Chumthang Sanapung, Kwakeithel and Khomdram Kripananda finished second and third.

Pritam Nahakpam of KMFC, Kumbi Laisangdong Mamang and Kumaros Oinam of Three Brothers, Kongpal finished fourth and fifth in the same event.

Dhanaraj Paonam of Shajen Shang, Moirang bagged the men's sports physique title as Thokchom Momocha of AM/PM Impact Gym, Bishnupur and Kumam Shrinivash of Pakhangba Fitness Centre, Kumbi finished second and third.

Oinam Imoyai of Pakhangba Fitness Centre and Heisnam Roshan of United Gym were placed fourth and fifth in the same competition.
