LMLCC, SWC post identical 5-0 wins in Kakching Super Division Football League

Imphal, September 27 2025: LMLCC, Langmeidong and SWC, Keirak registered identical 5-0 wins today to open their 22nd Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League Toumament 2025 campaign in style.

In the third match of the 7-team tournament and the day's first, LMLCC rode on doubles from LV Rengminger and S Bobby to notch up the 5-0 win against KMSWC, Keirak Makha.

LMLCC took a slender 1-0 first half lead thanks to Rengminger's 22ad minute strike before Th Aryan slammed home the second goal in the 45th minute.

S Bobby who came off the bench after the break joined the party by netting the team's third in the 49th minute before Rengminger returned to action and scored his second goal in the 61st minute to make it 4-0 .

Bobby then rounded off the scoring in the 77th minute and sealed the 5-0 win as KMSWC failed to capitalise on their chances in the second half as well.

Later in the other match of the day, SWC came out all guns blazing to rout Sugnu FC 5-0 .

SWC's scoring prowess was on display as five of its players including substitute Shiwadash found the target.

SWC entered the break with a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Sanatomba, who converted a penalty in the 26th minute, and Rickson in the 40 th minute.

Abhinash then extended SWC's lead to 3-0 by beating Sugnu FC's keeper in the 57th minute before his compatriot Johnison joined the fray to make it 4-0 after 62 minutes.

Shiwadash who subbed in for Abhinash after 81 minutes then sealed the 5-0 win with a stoppage time goal (90+1 ') .

SAO, Kakching will play LMLCC in the next match on October 1 .
