TYDA demolish BFA by 10-1 goals in 1st Y Manao Memorial Football League opener

Imphal, September 15 2025: TYDA, Toubul kick-started their campaign (Group A) in the 1 st Y Manao (Shinaba) Memorial 1st Division Football League organised by DSA Bishnupur with a 10-1 demolition of B A, Nachou at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

TYDA came out all guns blazing from the beginning and raced to a 5-0 first half lead before firing home 5 more goals in the latter half to come out 10-1 winners against their Nachou rivals today.

TYDA's scoring prowess was at the fore with 8 players finding their names on the score-sheet including Th Malemnganba, L Dhoni and M Steven Kom who netted two goals apiece.

The game started with a bang as TYDA swarmed the BFA half to tease their rivals with crisp passing and it was Th Leon who opened the floodgate in the 5 th minute with a brilliant effort.

Th Malemnganba joined the scoring spree by adding the second for the team within two minutes of the opening goal before scoring his second goal in the 28th minute to make it 3-0 .

BFA further slumped with Th Anish scoring TYDA's fourth goal in the 34th minute and L Dhoni scored two minutes into the added time of the first half to make it 5-0 .

After the changeover, TYDA picked up the game from where they left and made it 6-0 with N Goutam finding the target in the 53rd minute before M Steven Kom scored his first to make it 7-0 after 56 minutes.

L Dhoni also netted his second in the 62nd minute to make it 8-0 and pile further pressure on clueless BFA.

N Premsagar also joined the fray and further extended TYDA's lead to 9-0 in the 75th minute before A Prince scored the consolation goal for BFA in the 80th minute.

M Steven Kom then rounded off the scoring at the stroke of the 90th minute mark.

Raising Club, Ngaikhong Khullen will play LFC, Ngaikhong Khunou in the Group B opener tomorrow before Loktak FC, Loktak Project take on RFCC, Keinou in the second Group B match.
