3rd Premier League : MIUFC end ASUFII FA's six-game unbeaten run in 7-goal thriller, go top

Imphal, November 12 2025: Mayang Imphal United FC (MIUFC) ended ASUFII FA's six-game unbeaten run in the ongoing 3rd Premier League as they emerged 4-3 winners for the 6th win at SCC ground, Sekta.

With the 6th win in 8 matches that also included a draw, MIUFC went atop the table on 19 points (with one superior goal count) above SSU, Singjamei who have also registered 6 wins and a draw to amass 19 points.

Longjam Ronald played a crucial role in MIUFC's crucial win by netting twice in the stoppage time after Maibam Kishan (5') and Wahengbam Tejkumar (8') ensured the team entered 2-2 into the break.

For ASUFII FA, Ngararshing Raikhan opened the scoring in the 2nd minute before Shital Oinam drew level in the 9th minute.

ASUFII looked to register their fourth win with Ngararshing Raikhan retaining the team's lead after 75 minutes but L Ronald equalised yet again for MIUFC one minute into stoppage time before hitting the winner two minutes later.

Later in the day, Anouba Imagi Mangal (AIM), Khabam beat Kshetri Iril Mapal Youth Club (KIYC), Kshetri Iril Mapal 1-0 for the 5th win in 7 matches that also included a draw.

The goal that lifted AIM to third place in the league table was scored by Laishram Monish in the 33rd minute.
