Parash FC beat FLM on penalties to reach Maipakpi Memorial Trophy final

Imphal, June 07 2025: Parash FC cruised into the final of the 3rd Maipakpi Memorial Trophy 9-a-side football tournament for men, organized by the Mangai Foundation Heirok and Maipakpi Organising Committee in association with City Club, Heirok Litan Makhong.

Parash FC defeated Football Lovers Manipur by 5-3 goals on penalties after a 1-1 regulation time draw in a keenly contested semi-final match to book their place in the final.

It was Peter who put Football Lovers Manipur ahead after 13 minutes but Gopi scored the equaliser for Parash FC in the 49th minute to stretch the game to a penalty shoot-out.

In the shoot-out, only Amitkumar, Naoba and Deny scored for Football Lovers Manipur as Gop, Zidanne, Abinash, Suraj and Umakanta were on target for Parash FC .
