Manipur emerge team champions in 30th National Sub-Jr and Sr Thang-Ta C'ship

Imphal, January 07 2025:
Manipur emerged team champions in 30th National Sub-Junior and Senior Thang-Ta Championship 2024 hosted by the All Uttarakhand Thang-Ta Martial Art Association under the aegis of Thang-Ta Federation of India from January 4 to 6 .

61 State athletes claimed as many as 54 medals including 42 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals to emerge team champions while Jammu and Kashmir amassed as many as 58 medals including 17 gold, 22 silver and 19 bronze medals to finish 1st runners up.
Assam, meanwhile, finished second runners up with 8 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze medals.
The State team were led by Sarangthem Tiken as men's coach, Shapam Sanatombi as women's coach, L Anilkumar as team manager, N Noren as assistant team manager alongside two officials- Sh Shyamananda and Ng Keshorjit.
